Jay has always had a passion for athletics and adventure. His day job for 18 years was in event marketing where he traveled extensively. To stay in shape, while on the road, he began running. In 1997 a friend talked him into running his first marathon, the Country Music Marathon in Nashville…he was hooked. Since then he has completed ten marathons, multiple triathlons and two Ironman, Louisville and Arizona. On the adventure side he has trekked to Everest Base Camp, completed the Annapurna Circuit, does an annual rim to rim to rim of the Grand Canyon and travels extensively.
His wife, Elizabeth, talked him into turning his passion into a career. Endurance House was a perfect fit…he can now talk about gear, races, aches, and training plans, while helping others achieve their goals. Whether you are looking to run your first 5K or are completing your fifth Ironman, Jay and his team will help you achieve your goals.
